Wow, my first blog—cool.
If you’ve found this, congratulations! You are one of the first people to come across this soon-to-be legendary Gulf-style brand. The journey to get here has been a slow one. It has taken a lot of time, courage, and effort for me to finally build something from the ground up—something I hope will last for generations to come.
I don’t want these posts to be too long because, honestly, who wants to sit and read all day? You should have your face out of the screen, looking for a parking spot at the beach anyway. So far, Gulf of America Man has a hot sauce in the works. Nothing brings people together more than food and smiles, and our signature aged cayenne pepper sauce is specially formulated for Gulf seafood—or any animal part that might fall into your fish fry.
Today, I finally got Shopify set up and connected to the domain I purchased. I’ve done this before, and I have to say, it’s a lot easier now than the last time I tried launching an e-commerce store. Although this brand is starting with a website, I want it to be a lifestyle movement—something that inspires, empowers, and connects people. I always ask myself, Well, how the heck can a tank top do that? Well, it can’t. That’s why I want Gulf of America Man to be rooted in community and service. Giving back will be a large part of what we do here.

I’m a little old school—I don’t really want to be tethered to every social media platform to share my day-to-day. I’ll probably need a social media person down the line because I know people like it, but if you want the raw, unfiltered story, this blog is where it’s at.
